Jan Dalecký scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guust Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Pelsers in the 14th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Pavel Hurník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Míchal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guust Bautmans having to interfere. Jan Míchal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guust Bautmans having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Golden Tigers's Guust Bautmans threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jan Dalecký, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 26 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Jan Dalecký made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guust Bautmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinand Pelsers hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Guust Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Míchal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan Dalecký had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Pelsers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Golden Tigers's Jan Dalecký sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guust Bautmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jan Dalecký had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Dalecký's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guust Bautmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luke Van der Meiren to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Jan Dalecký shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guust Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Tigers were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Ulan Bator Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Panuška took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Garry Brabant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Garry Brabant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Hurník breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guust Bautmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Dalecký, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Philippe-Arnaud Pellegrims managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philippe-Arnaud Pellegrims was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes, Jan Míchal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ulan Bator Football Club's Guust Bautmans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferdinand Pelsers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Pavel Hurník made a huge save. If Jan Míchal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jan Dalecký came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Dalecký couldn't finish the play. Guust Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dalecký in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Golden Tigers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
