Gregor Ranzijn's late challenge caught a Szajk LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregor Ranzijn helped the player get up and apologised. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Lángara in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Bogdán in the 5th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Pascal Vledder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Isidro Lángara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Vledder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, S.C. Potentia's Marian Tufescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marian Tufescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of S.C. Potentia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marian Tufescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Szajk LC a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Gergely, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.C. Potentia's Pascal Vledder. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Geert Boerma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal and Geert Boerma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Kort kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Isidro Lángara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Vledder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Lángara in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Joris Pothuizen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joris Pothuizen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Dénes in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Isidro Lángara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Vledder. S.C. Potentia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Lángara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Pascal Vledder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Pascal Vledder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Lángara went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Pascal Vledder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Bogdán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szajk LC's Isidro Lángara got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Bogdán in the 45th minute of play forced S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Pascal Vledder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's István Tulipán got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miklós Bogdán to make the kick off. Miklós Bogdán received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pascal Vledder came out and tried to block the shot, but Miklós Bogdán slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 50th minute. If Isidro Lángara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute of the match, Miklós Bogdán tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascal Vledder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 60 minutes into the match, Isidro Lángara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascal Vledder. S.C. Potentia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Lángara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 63 minutes of play, Szajk LC's Isidro Lángara made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascal Vledder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pascal Vledder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Lángara went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, S.C. Potentia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miklós Bogdán fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Lángara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascal Vledder. That made the score 0-9 in the 71 minute of play. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 75th minute of play. Zoltán Dénes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascal Vledder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Miklós Bogdán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Miklós Bogdán managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miklós Bogdán was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascal Vledder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, S.C. Potentia's Pascal Vledder got control of the ball when Isidro Lángara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Lángara in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Vledder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, Szajk LC's Miklós Bogdán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascal Vledder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hans Jochemsen hit a great ball. When the match was over Szajk LC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C. Potentia throughout the match.
