An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Gerber in the 11th minute of play forced Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Robbin Roggen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Zero Gravity got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Elzen. In the 13thth minute of the game Mikolaj Ratulowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Zero Gravity's Laurent Elzen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Robbin Roggen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Westelinx in the 25th minute of play. Joshua Anderhub kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Hannes Saenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hannes Saenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Ratulowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Hinnen got free with Robbin Roggen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Çelikan Ayalp was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Zero Gravity:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Wil 1900:s goal. Robbin Roggen had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Joshua Anderhub's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hannes Saenger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wawrzyniec Iwanowski went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Mikolaj Ratulowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zero Gravity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Zero Gravity were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wawrzyniec Iwanowski made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Hannes Saenger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikolaj Ratulowski. Mikolaj Ratulowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hannes Saenger made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Parolini to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Zero Gravity's Mehmet Hamdi Yaren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hannes Saenger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Roland Cirella. Hannes Saenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Ratulowski in the 61st minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Iwanowski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Hannes Saenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Ratulowski in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Zero Gravity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurent Elzen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Karim Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbin Roggen was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Zero Gravity's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Anderhub came free, but Robbin Roggen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes, Luca Parolini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the Zero Gravity players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wil 1900! In the 84th minute Wawrzyniec Iwanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Saenger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Hamdi Yaren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hannes Saenger came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehmet Hamdi Yaren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 86th minute. Hannes Saenger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Iwanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wawrzyniec Iwanowski came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Zero Gravity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Iwanowski couldn't finish the play. Hannes Saenger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Ratulowski in the 97th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Bollhalder. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger got control of the ball when Mikolaj Ratulowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zero Gravity walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
