Pieter-Jan Wagemakers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bard Bowman in the 7th minute of play. When Amar Amautović fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondor FC™'s protests and gave Amar Amautović a yellow card for diving instead. Amar Amautović hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Thorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Chiel van Herwijnen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Gondor FC™'s King Thorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Gondor FC™ booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Michelangeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Gondor FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Gray Gondolf. After having played for 24 minutes, Kristof Klompe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristof Klompe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaja Kerimović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Klompe in the 30th minute of play. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bard Bowman in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bard Bowman in the 37th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Wagemakers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Tahir Srna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Thorin made a kick off. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Wagemakers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bard Bowman. Gondor FC™'s Elfar Elrond was substituted for King Thorin. De Digitale Dribbelaars were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Gondor FC™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kristof Klompe took the corner. Richard Bosma hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Anton Lyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Lyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahir Srna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kristof Klompe hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Wagemakers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elfar Elrond. Pieter-Jan Wagemakers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elfar Elrond went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Husein Bilalović came free, but Pieter-Jan Wagemakers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Foeke Toolenaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Bard Bowman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pieter-Jan Wagemakers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gondor FC™ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
