Qiu Feng Guo's late challenge caught a Decathlon Dudes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Hilhorst who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Steve Van der Veeken when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Purple Talents's Charl Anthonis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joris Wessels, made in the 62nd minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goalkeeper Steve Van der Veeken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Hilhorst. In the 77th minute, Nico-Jan Ijsselhof got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Qiu Feng Guo made a precise shot to the right of César Sousa. Decathlon Dudes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 84th minute Simon Hilhorst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Van der Veeken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiu Feng Guo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Noah Lyles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steve Van der Veeken. That made the score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Purple Talents succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Decathlon Dudes had controlled the match.
