The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Vencel Pápai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute Vencel Pápai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nagyváradi AC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zoltán Solti during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfonz Földi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Marcell Pécsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyváradi AC and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The throw-in from Nico Boschker in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nagyváradi AC's Gábor Keserű. Miklós Bögi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li. But to his dismay, Shao Hui Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vencel Pápai, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gerard van den Eede scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miklós Bögi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonz Földi in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer got control of the ball when Alfonz Földi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vencel Pápai in the 35th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Daalmeyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonz Földi got free with Jean-Paul Daalmeyer in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Vencel Pápai notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Shao Hui Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miklós Bögi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Nagyváradi AC's Gábor Keserű quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nico Boschker, made in the 50th minute of the game. Ábel Zarka didn't quite understand what happened when in the 53 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonz Földi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonz Földi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vencel Pápai in the 78th minute of the match.
