With a little luck, Ekzema F.V.'s Wellington Baiano got control of the ball when Luís Fabiano Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Sílvio Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maicon Linhares was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Ramalho got free with Wellington Baiano in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FLA MQ BRASIL's Luiz Fabiano Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bueno in the 88th minute of play. Wellington Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
