In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yasar Bonnemain hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Albin Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dráusio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Zdzislaw Kajdasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Erberk Tunçkol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the Cremonese FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edinho Dantas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cremonese FC's Dráusio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Anundsson in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albin Anundsson was slow to take the kick. During this time E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's corner Albin Anundsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dráusio Ortiz quite easily take care of the ball. If Zdzislaw Kajdasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erberk Tunçkol to strike the kick off in the second half. Flamengo Paraibano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
