Edin Džeko started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Edin Džeko put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claes Feuereisen. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Edin Džeko put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Claes Feuereisen. Claes Feuereisen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Feuereisen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes, Edin Džeko made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. AITEC's Claes Feuereisen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claes Feuereisen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Claes Feuereisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Edin Džeko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AITEC's Claes Feuereisen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Feuereisen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Edin Džeko sped through AITEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claes Feuereisen. Claes Feuereisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randy Kläser in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Feuereisen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edin Džeko in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Claes Feuereisen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Claes Feuereisen managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Songurbey Şahsuvar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Feuereisen having to interfere. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Feuereisen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AITEC's Claes Feuereisen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save AITEC from getting a goal against them. Claes Feuereisen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 91st minute of play. After 96th play minutes Edin Džeko shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Claes Feuereisen and just under the crossbar into goal. The AITEC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
