The corner led VARGINHA FC's Paulão Nóbrega to fire away a dangerous shot which Claes Feuereisen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 minutes, Fiori Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AITEC and the VARGINHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manfredo de Lara during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
