The referee ignored PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s protests and gave Rey Puyol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rey Puyol hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Ezequiel Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s Fabrício Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Matorin in the 47th minute of play. The PRO-BR™ -P.A.B- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Motta Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

After 53 minutes PRO-BR™ -P.A.B-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Vieira who took care of the corner kick. Luís Eduardo Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrício Hoffmann having to make a save. When Fernando Motta fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Fernando Motta hit a great ball. Ezequiel Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute of the match Abel Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Arósio skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Chicão Guerra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabrício Hoffmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
