Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Lucas Paquette started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelsinho Bastos in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Catarinense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Tavares's late challenge caught a Curiphila Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Diamonds FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Tavares to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nelsinho Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curiphila Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Bastos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Diamonds FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Naldo Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséias Arósio during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oséias Arósio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Murilo Paiva made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jorginho Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Naldo Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Catarinense having to make a save. Nelsinho Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Curiphila Eagles's Naldo Costa got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva got control of the ball when Lucas Paquette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Catarinense came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Curiphila Eagles's Nelsinho Bastos. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelsinho Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vivaldo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-4 became the score in the 55th minute when Naldo Costa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Murilo Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Paquette, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 70th play minutes Naldo Costa shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Alberto Catarinense and just under the crossbar into goal. Nelsinho Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alberto Catarinense made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, Curiphila Eagles's Nelsinho Bastos made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Cacá de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 94th minute Cacá de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cacá de Almeida hit a great ball.
