The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Vítor Negri during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bergamim F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal de Moraes in the 13th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Fernandez made a huge save. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal de Moraes in the 17th minute of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nando Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Fernandez made a huge save. Elder Quadros hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez got control of the ball when Zé Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal de Moraes came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Leonardo Vides got a free kick in the 38th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal de Moraes in the 39th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Fabrício Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabrício Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Barros. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Brooks Shields made the kick off in the second half. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal de Moraes in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Dionísio in the 53rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juvenal de Moraes in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the game, Juvenal de Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pedro Luís Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Noel Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bergamim F.C.'s Christiano Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Bergamim F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Juvenal de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Negri was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd match minute, Bergamim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Negri to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Dracena was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Brooks Shields capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brooks Shields really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. 82 minutes into the match, Bergamim F.C.'s Zé Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luís Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zé Barros came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bergamim F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Barros couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Zé Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Fernandez having to interfere. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bergamim F.C. fully deserved thier win.
