Osmar Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SeleSantos FC's Tales Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Rosario in the 17th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Osmar Rosario sped through SeleSantos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tales Siqueira. When 余斌亦 came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the ROSÁRIO SPORT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 余斌亦 couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Bueno. After 43 played minutes, SeleSantos FC's Vânderson de Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Mineiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SeleSantos FC reached it. Osmar Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Siqueira having to interfere. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. 余斌亦 hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cássio do Vale made the kick off in the second half. 余斌亦 kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. SeleSantos FC's Cássio do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Lopez during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71stth minute of the game Abelardo de Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSÁRIO SPORT's Thiago Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thiago Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio do Vale's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thiago Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato das Neves to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. 余斌亦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Rosario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Tales Siqueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulo Renato das Neves hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Although SeleSantos FC had been in control for most of the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT still came away with the win.
