An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Marquez in the 17th minute of play forced Guayra FC's goalkeeper Chu Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Ulisses Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chu Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulisses Marquez in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chu Damião prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sidney de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guayra FC's Beto de Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomás Vides. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Thomás Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Freire in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Guayra FC's Carlinhos Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 30th minute Carlinhos Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Guayra FC booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tales Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Sandro Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ulisses Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The wind increased when Beto de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Ulisses Marquezs short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Chu Damião to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, Ulisses Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Chu Damião successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 63 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Vianna came free, but Thomás Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guayra FC's Tadeu Freire challenged an opponent after 65 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. Guayra FC made a substitution. Lino Netto replaced Tadeu Freire. Thomás Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Thomás Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guayra FC booed when AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto de Azevedo succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. After some careless play in the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ defense, Beto de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Vides. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Vides should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guayra FC fully deserved thier win.
