Gil de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Lendaa in the 19th minute of the match. Zé Lendaa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil de Medeiros. Gil de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Zé Lendaa sped through Nautilus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil de Medeiros. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Lendaa in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Zé Lendaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. João Paulo Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Lendaa to make the kick off. Nautilus's Gil de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Nautilus from getting a goal against them. Gil de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paulo Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mukifus FSCMZ booed when Nautilus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil de Medeiros was a little too slow when João Paulo Neiva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-6. Zé Lendaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil de Medeiros having to interfere. When João Paulo Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mukifus FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Paulo Neiva couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte Tasso during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, João Paulo Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Paulo Neiva charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Paulo Neiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Paulo Neiva hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
