A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Willian Paes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Flavinho Arantes. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Salomão Borges got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes of play, S.C. Ferrari's Beto Guedes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes In-Crivel EC got a freekick which was hit by Kleber Anderson. Elano Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of In-Crivel EC booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Willian Paes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavinho Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Kléberson Sabóia hit a great ball. Elano Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Flavinho Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half S.C. Ferrari were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Galvão in the 52nd minute of play forced In-Crivel EC's goalkeeper Flavinho Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Willian Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Willian Paes rounded In-Crivel EC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Aloísio Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Flavinho Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima was substituted for Elano Galvão. In the 79th match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Amorim to maneuver through the defense. After 84th play minutes Willian Paes shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Flavinho Arantes and just under the crossbar into goal. Flavinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Paes in the 89th minute of the match. Willian Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Arantes having to interfere. S.C. Ferrari's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
