Ferrari's João Carlos Oliveira got control of the ball when Alnis Ragainis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Léo de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Oliveira having to interfere. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sadri Sanal hit a great ball. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadri Sanal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of S.C. Ferrari booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Beto Guedes hit a great ball. Valdir Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Willian Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Paes scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráuzio Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Eurico Freitas got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Freitas to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rdth minute of the game Beto Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Dráuzio Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bandelocos's Dráuzio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Paes in the 47th minute of play. After the first half S.C. Ferrari were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willian Paes was the one to do the kick off. The corner led S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale to fire away a dangerous shot which Dráuzio Borges despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willian Paes in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Borges saved Bandelocos from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Ferrari's zone, Sadri Sanal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carlos Oliveira came out of the goal and Sadri Sanal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráuzio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Marques in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match S.C. Ferrari got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Váldson do Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led S.C. Ferrari's Váldson do Vale to fire away a dangerous shot which Dráuzio Borges despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C. Ferrari's Víktor Marques got a free kick in the 70th minute. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Amauri Pernambucano replaced Váldson do Vale. After 71 played minutes S.C. Ferrari got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Marques. In the 74th minute, Adilson Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.C. Ferrari's João Carlos Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Garcia in the 78th minute of play. When S.C. When Sadri Sanal fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandelocos's protests and gave Sadri Sanal a yellow card for diving instead. Sadri Sanal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Amauri Pernambucano's late challenge caught a Bandelocos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched S.C. Ferrari eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
