When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Marcos Aparecido put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Amorim in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Pratigipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Vaz came free, but Cláudio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Célio Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cláudio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Maranhense in the 30th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Luizinho Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Soares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nestor Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Luizinho Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Célio Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Paes to make the kick off. Marcos Aparecido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio Soares firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Maranhense in the 59th minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Soares having to interfere. Roger Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cláudio Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Paes took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Chiquinho Oliveira hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Aparecido. Rubens Neves hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Luizinho Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Mangueira hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Aparecido got free with Cláudio Soares in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Frank Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the In-Crivel EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Soeiro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Célio Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. In-Crivel EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pratigipe EC's Artur Mangueira got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Paes got free with Cláudio Soares in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Célio Paes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In-Crivel EC played a much better game than Pratigipe EC and deserved their victory. The Pratigipe EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
