Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Ramalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Eusébio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the game, Elói Penha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Montesclarense E.C.'s Hélder Oliveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eusébio Ramalho charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Ramalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Eusébio Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiano Trevisan was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Christiano Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christiano Trevisan having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiano Trevisan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Elói Penha threw the ball into play from the sideline. Montesclarense E.C.'s Ian Godoi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the game, Christiano Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christiano Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Christiano Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christiano Trevisan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Montesclarense E.C.'s Christiano Siqueira. But to his dismay, Christiano Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Donatello came free, but Luiz Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes, Jorge Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morro Grande E.C and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Pedro Abraão's late challenge caught a Montesclarense E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Pedro Abraão helped the player get up and apologised. 36 minutes into the game, one of Morro Grande E.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luiz Eger was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Wilian de Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilian de Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Donatello was the one to do the kick off. Fellipe dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Trevisan having to interfere. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ronaldo Lima hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Ian Godoi got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Wilian de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe dos Santos went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Eusébio Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christiano Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe dos Santos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Trevisan. Christiano Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Luiz Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
