The Monumento Sports fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Wellington Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Neiva scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wellington Coutinho came out of the goal and Pedrinho Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gernando Quintal came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wellington Coutinho could save by the left post. In the 75th minute Laerte Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Laerte Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Natanael Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natanael Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Toninho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Excelência de Luxe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monumento Sports's performance. The match ended with a win for Monumento Sports.
