The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Jano de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexsandro Netto was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Alex Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mauro Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Velasco during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leopoldo Velasco hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Acácio Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexsandro Netto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When Acácio Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Unidade Pinto Louco fans jumped to their feet. Amauri Lima's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Unidade Pinto Louco's Amauri Lima got a free kick in the 27th minute. Dalmo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Toledo in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Alex Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Dionísio in the 40th minute of play. Unidade Pinto Louco were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Samurai Champions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Acácio Domingues took the corner. Wesley Carneiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Renan Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai Champions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jano de Toledo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Toledo in the 57th minute of play forced Unidade Pinto Louco's goalkeeper Dalmo Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samurai Champions FC's Alexsandro Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano de Toledo in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Unidade Pinto Louco's Emanuel Dionísio got a free kick in the 59th minute. Samurai Champions FC's Alex Toledo suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Amauri Lima hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Adelino Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes, Adelino Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidade Pinto Louco and the Samurai Champions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, one of Unidade Pinto Louco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unidade Pinto Louco. Acácio Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Leme got free with Alexsandro Netto in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Jano de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Carneiro during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wesley Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jano de Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexsandro Netto came out and tried to block the shot, but Jano de Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 92nd minute.
