Leonardo Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guará FC. When Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Yuri Cearense in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guará FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. José Maria Teixeira went to the cornerflag to take it. Vinícius Soares hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Guará FC's Edgar Tepedino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Trancoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emílio Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Teixeira in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Bater Cuca scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Trancoso, making the score, 1-0. Luís Souto came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonardo Trancoso could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, José Maria Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustave Martinot kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, José Maria Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emílio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Teixeira. Bater Cuca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Yuri Cearense hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Souto in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Red Dragon FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Lira to maneuver through the defense. Guará FC's Luís Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Souto. Guará FC's Emílio Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Guará FC from getting a goal against them. José Maria Teixeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Motta having to make a save. Yuri Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emílio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match, José Maria Teixeira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emílio Motta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Souto in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Luís Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Emílio Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Guará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Barbosa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Bater Cuca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Cuca in the 98th minute of play.
