Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Henrique took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Henrique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Henrique's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aloísio Pirani firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Zebus FC's Danilo Alvarenga got a free kick in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as América-SC F.C.'s Luís Henrique slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aloísio Pirani. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. América-SC F.C.'s Cleithon Ortiz pulled a muscle in his back after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giuseppe Godoi during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. América-SC F.C. made a substitution. Christian Matos replaced Cleithon Ortiz. Giuseppe Godoi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dida Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Bezerra in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Coelho was the one to do the kick off. Cafu Gonçalves hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, one of América-SC F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaston Roderigo had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Dida Coelho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 62nd minute, Dida Coelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zebus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 69th minute, Dida Coelho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaston Roderigo. The goal made the score 2-2. Clemente Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Zebus FC's Aloísio Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Bezerra in the 77th minute of play. Aloísio Pirani came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by América-SC F.C.'s Luís Henrique. But to his dismay, Luís Henrique quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 86 minutes into the match, Zebus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Matos came free, but Aloísio Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Coelho let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 92nd minute shot 3-3 at rihgt post. América-SC F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
