Dênis de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Masses in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. George Modrić hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Hélder Maciel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Masses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Trigo in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Three Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ademar Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time OSASCO FC's players had a chance to rest. OSASCO FC's Ademar Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dênis de Castro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Feliciano Demesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Brodel in the 25th minute of play. After 37 minutes Three Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademar Castro who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Three Lions FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OSASCO FC:s goal. With 41 minutes on the clock, Nando Trevisan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a long run with the ball, George Kroos did a trick in the 43rd minute in front of OSASCO FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Three Lions FC's George Kroos! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gualter Trigo made the kick off in the second half. Dênis de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When George Pavard fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Three Lions FC's protests and gave George Pavard a yellow card for diving instead. George Pavard kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dênis de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ademar Castro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, George Kroos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Kroos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cafu de Moraes hit a great ball. Feliciano Demesio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cafu de Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Gualter Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dênis de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Douglas Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Trigo in the 86th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Dênis de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Kroos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dênis de Castro, a very annoying self made goal in the 88th minute which led to 2-1. Álvaro Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
