Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vitinho Leme took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Nico de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MINEIROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Benê Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Juan Zanette hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind MINEIROS's goalkeeper Serginho Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Vitinho Leme made a precise shot to the right of Serginho Taffarel. MINEIROS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Nico de Mendonça kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Geovani Neves. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. In the 27th match minute, CENZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Galvão to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Nico de Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Geovani Neves to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico de Mendonça in the 37th minute of play forced CENZI's goalkeeper Geovani Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Geovani Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when MINEIROS's Nico de Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 40 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Juan Zanette. After 44 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Gaspar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After 51 minutes of play, MINEIROS's Luiz Fábio Schmidt made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovani Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Geovani Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Lopes during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruninho Lopes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Nico de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovani Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Juan Zanette hit a great ball. Geovani Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico de Mendonça in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Neves saved CENZI from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Nico de Mendonça made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. CENZI's Geovani Neves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. MINEIROS's Ronaldinho Braga was substituted for Luiz Fábio Schmidt. In the 75th match minute, CENZI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Naldo Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Teodoro Cardozo hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Juan Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Luís Galvão sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind CENZI's goalkeeper Geovani Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vágner Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. CENZI's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MINEIROS had won, even though CENZI had held more of the ball.
