Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcel Abreu took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benê Favoretto in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Ortiz saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. Vicente Fantini came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eliseu da Costa lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Dragões Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eliseu da Costa hit a great ball. Vicente Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 11th minute of play. Vicente Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Mazurkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiano Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Ladislao Mazurkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benê Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Luizão Prata got a free kick in the 20th minute. Vicente Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Mazurkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Oscar Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Miguel Ángel Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Abreu in the 28th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcel Abreu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vicente Fantini was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Benê Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Ortiz having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Ladislao Mazurkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Peres made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Abreu. With an all-out effort, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vicente Fantini threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcel Abreu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 67 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz came free, but Vicente Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Marcel Abreu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vicente Fantini. Vicente Fantini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 77th minute when Marcel Abreu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leopoldo Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Marcel Abreu made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Fantini made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 90 in the game by Marcel Abreu from a close distance when the talented Vicente Fantini managed to make a qualified save. Dragões Barbudos FC's players were relieved. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul played a much better game than Dragões Barbudos FC and deserved their victory. The Dragões Barbudos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
