Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dragões Barbudos FC's Ramón Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dorival da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zandarin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorival da Costa couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dragões Barbudos FC's Ramón Leão got a free kick in the 5th minute. Pedrinho Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Peres in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute Benê Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zézinho de Almeida scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Dragões Barbudos FC's Vicente Fantini got control of the ball when Dorival da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Eliseu da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragões Barbudos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zandarin FC the free kick. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Fantini having to interfere. In the 46th minute Ramón Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Zézinho de Almeida made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Schmidt in the 56th minute of play forced Dragões Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Vicente Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho de Almeida went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 70 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu da Costa. Ernani Linares made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benê Favoretto. Vicente Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho de Almeida in the 78th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Dragões Barbudos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho de Almeida came free, but Vicente Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Ernani Linares in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zandarin FC's Erivaldo Queirós. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, Oscar Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Severo came out of the goal and Oscar Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
