Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) CENZI's Vitinho Leme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Vitinho Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mauro Leão fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENZI's protests and gave Mauro Leão a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Luís Henrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, América-SC F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Galvão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luís Henrique sped through CENZI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovani Neves. The corner led CENZI's Bruninho Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaston Roderigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Henrique in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovani Neves saved CENZI from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Cleithon Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. América-SC F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENZI the free kick. After a rather tough play, América-SC F.C.'s Cleithon Ortiz got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Henrique to make the kick off. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mauro Leão hit a great ball. After 54 minutes of play, América-SC F.C.'s Luís Henrique made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovani Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th match minute, América-SC F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Carioca to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Paulo Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The América-SC F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Vitinho Leme hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Luís Henrique managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. América-SC F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Henrique was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovani Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Henrique's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When Teodoro Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENZI's protests and gave Teodoro Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes CENZI got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Cardozo. If Luís Henrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Luís Henrique was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. América-SC F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENZI the free kick. In the 86th minute, Luís Henrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Carioca. A collision led to CENZI getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luís Galvão hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, one of CENZI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Henrique got free with Geovani Neves in the 102nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched América-SC F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
