After 6 played minutes, Tirense F.C.'s Gilberto Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedrinho Severo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tirense F.C. reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Gilberto Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willian Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes of play Zandarin FC's Célio Leme was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Célio Leme hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Franklin Severo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tirense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Severo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Walmir Schmidt got a free kick in the 21st minute. Franklin Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Dorival da Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zandarin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Walmir Schmidt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enéas Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pedrinho Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Willian Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Willian Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Arruda having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmir Schmidt to make the kick off. Dorival da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Walmir Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Arruda. Tirense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Walmir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Tirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Severo to maneuver through the defense. If Walmir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes in the game Luiz Eduardo Novaes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luisão Severo. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Dida Vidal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Willian Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Severo having to interfere. Richard Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Enéas Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
