The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio Machado should have stopped the shot. Luís Henrique could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Machado made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Antunes came free, but Luís Fábio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Cearense hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Luís Fábio Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 100 Chance's protests and gave Luís Fábio Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fábio Andrade hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in América-SC F.C. reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Henrique in the 70th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
