Waldir Palmeira lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Luiz Eduardo Novaes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by 100 Chance's Wellington Braga. But to his dismay, Wellington Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12th minute Roberto Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Gerber was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. 100 Chance's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Paiva in the 16th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Paiva during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Eduardo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 100 Chance. Richard de Azevedo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Paiva was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 60th minute Wellington Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luiz Eduardo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Vito Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Wellington Braga sped through Tirense F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Novaes. Tirense F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Gerber in the 87th minute of play. 100 Chance's Wellington Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
