Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Lima in the 5th minute of play. Pedro Augusto Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Compostela FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã dos Santos came free, but Virgílio Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, F.Salgado F.C.'s Cauã dos Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pedro Augusto Ceresso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.Salgado F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute, Edmílson Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgílio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Compostela FSCMZ's Cristian Urbano was substituted for Aílton Baptista. Compostela FSCMZ's Pedro Tasso was substituted for Christian Oliveira. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oswaldo Cabral was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Nando Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Bastos. In the 61stth minute of the game Cauã dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Urbano in the 65th minute of play forced F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Nando Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Cláudio Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Miranda. Compostela FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Virgílio Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Marques in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Cauã dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Roberto Galvão during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Galvão to maneuver through the defense. When Cauã dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the F.Salgado F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã dos Santos couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Nando Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Urbano. Virgílio Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.Salgado F.C. fully deserved thier win.
