The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Pecém getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Benjamim Pernambucano hit a great ball. Lenílson Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Laércio Eger made a huge save. Thomás do Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laércio Eger came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomás do Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. Thomás do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Laércio Eger made a huge save. After 14 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thomás do Valle made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Valle in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Lenílson Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Zanette during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vítor Zanette hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Pecém's Laércio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás do Valle in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Thomás do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenílson Gomes in the 24th minute of play forced Pecém's goalkeeper Laércio Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Laércio Eger made a huge save. After some careless play in the Pecém defense, Luizinho Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Eger. The Pecém fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Eger should have stopped the shot. Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico França, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Laércio Eger was a little too slow when Lenílson Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 5-0. In the 43rd minute, Frederico França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 47 minutes, Simão Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pecém and the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Frederico França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laércio Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Pecém's Laércio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás do Valle in the 52nd minute of play. Lenílson Gomes succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. In the 58th minute Thomás do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Thomás do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomás do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Laércio Eger came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lenílson Gomes. But to his dismay, Lenílson Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 69 minutes into the game, Lenílson Gomes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Laércio Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Frederico França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laércio Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. The supporters of Pecém booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Lenílson Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Vítor Zanette was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Pecém's Vítor Zanette got a free kick in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had played much better football throughout.
