Conrado Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Felipe Santos Borré made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Felipe Santos Borré was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fausto Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Fantini couldn't finish the play. Felipe Santos Borré made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Piovezan in the 73rd minute of play. Felipe Gol hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Luís Fabiano Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Santos Borré was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. The supporters of SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ booed when Itajaí Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the SÃO JORGE FC - CIMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itajaí Football Club.
