Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Pirajiba's Nelson de Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Nelson de Queiroz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duda Lira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nelson de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirajiba's goalkeeper Basílio Cosme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Amadeu Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duda Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson de Queiroz in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Legend™ got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Eger. Jarbas Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Jarbas Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Matorin in the 31st minute of play forced Pirajiba's goalkeeper Basílio Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Jairo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pirajiba defense, Rubinho Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Cosme. The Pirajiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Cosme should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes of play, Legend™'s Rubinho Matorin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Legend™'s Gláuber França got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half Legend™ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rodriguinho Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodriguinho Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pirajiba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Legend™ a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rubinho Matorin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pirajiba's Basílio Cosme. 0-3. Rodriguinho Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Diguinho Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Duda Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Cearense in the 65th minute of the match. Gláuber França was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of Legend™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Legend™. Basílio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Eger in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Legend™'s zone, Nelson de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Lira came out of the goal and Nelson de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jairo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Siqueira in the 96th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Diguinho Siqueira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio de Azevedo in the 101st minute of play forced Pirajiba's goalkeeper Basílio Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
