An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Freitas in the 7th minute of play forced Jucazinho SC's goalkeeper Waldir Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Edson de Brito put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandão Senna. Amadeu Arruda scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Digo Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandão Senna having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Cipriano Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doni Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jukatriz's Ulysses Teles was substituted for Dorian Freitas. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Jucazinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulysses Teles in the 46th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Délio Valadares to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Luiz Eduardo Magalhães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Waldir Moraes. The goal made the score 1-3. Waldir Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulysses Teles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 60 minute of play. Waldir Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Arruda in the 72nd minute. Amadeu Arruda scored 1-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Amadeu Arruda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Jucazinho SC from getting a goal against them. Jucazinho SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Magalhães scored to the left of an out of position Waldir Moraes, making the score, 1-8. The Jukatriz fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Jukatriz's Amadeu Arruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jukatriz played a much better game than Jucazinho SC and deserved their victory. The Jucazinho SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
