William Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Claudinho Chaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Chaves in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Falcão in the 26th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Túlio Arantes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hélio Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enéas Torres came out and tried to block the shot, but Hélio Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Roger Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Ulysses Gerber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Mineiro made a kick off. COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Mineiro in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enéas Torres saved Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting behind. Enéas Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Furtado in the 67th minute of the match. Duarte Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes, Leandro de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COURO COME FC and the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, one of COURO COME FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for COURO COME FC. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Claudinho Chaves got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes, COURO COME FC's Zé Carlos de Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enéas Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COURO COME FC reached it. With 97 minutes on the clock, Claudinei Cearense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 96 minutes into the game, one of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Enéas Torres had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Walmir Vale's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Walmir Vale took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Torres. Enéas Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. COURO COME FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
