A well-hit corner resulted in Ulysses Gerber heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 30 played minutes Tamboril got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Lara. 33 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson Ceresso came free, but Enéas Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, José Vítor Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Torres. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Vítor Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Claudinho Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Diniz having to interfere. 90 minutes in the game, Wanderson Ceresso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enéas Torres having to interfere.
