The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilian Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Horácio Damião hit a great ball. After 7 minutes of play, REAL VASCO RIO's Alfredo Fernandes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilian Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the game, Luciano Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REAL VASCO RIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ the free kick. In the 11th minute, Luciano Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, César Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but César Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percival Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Souza came free, but Wilian Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percival Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Wilian Quadros was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Pedrão Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedrão Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Luciano Leão took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Wilian Quadros to make any attempt to save it. Wilian Quadros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Leão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 31 minute of play. Luciano Leão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilian Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Leão slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Diogo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's Cristóvão Melo got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ defense, Alfredo Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilian Quadros. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilian Quadros should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilian Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Souza went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. After 55 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Falcão. Natã Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Wilian Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL VASCO RIO. 60 minutes into the match, Luciano Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Quadros. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 68 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Damião came free, but Wilian Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Wilian Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Leão in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Luciano Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilian Quadros. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Horácio Damião took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilian Quadros. Wilian Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Wilian Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Wilian Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Damião in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Alfredo Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL VASCO RIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. There was no doubt that REAL VASCO RIO were the better team. REAL VASCO RIO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
