The tension between the Xurupita FC and the OxentePaisa Salcity players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Vladimir Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Amorim having to interfere. Leonel Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Amorim made a huge save. Alex Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fábio Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonel Vaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fábio Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Vaz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Paraíba during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Belmiro Paraíba got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Leonel Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Amorim came out of the goal and Leonel Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fábio Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Vaz in the 37th minute of the match. Leonel Vaz took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fábio Amorim. Luiz Fábio Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Vaz got free with Luiz Fábio Amorim in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Zé Pedro Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcus Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Johan Redbone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After taking down the ball on OxentePaisa Salcity's corner Percival Tavares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fábio Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. After 86 played minutes, OxentePaisa Salcity's Percival Tavares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in OxentePaisa Salcity reached it. Leonel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Leonel Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OxentePaisa Salcity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OxentePaisa Salcity fully deserved thier win.
