The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, OxentePaisa Salcity's César da Mata threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonel Vaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Germano da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Guga Coutinho got a free kick in the 9th minute. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s César da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Vaz in the 10th minute of play. Falcão Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Elói Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano da Silveira having to interfere. In the 21st minute Leonel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Martins during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Raphael Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano da Silveira was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Dráuzio Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano da Silveira having to make a save. César da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Aguiar in the 29th minute of play forced OxentePaisa Salcity's goalkeeper Germano da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Dida Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. César da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper César da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dida Paraense. After 35 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Vito Velloso. Leonel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dida Paraense got free with César da Mata in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Raphael Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Dida Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OxentePaisa Salcity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TIMETER EC -DMZ- the free kick. In the 45th minute, Dida Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano da Silveira came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Falcão Monteiro. But to his dismay, Falcão Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Aguiar made a kick off. After a rather tough play, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Elói Borges got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the TIMETER EC -DMZ- defense, Dida Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César da Mata. The TIMETER EC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César da Mata should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Mané Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César da Mata came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by OxentePaisa Salcity's Dida Paraense. But to his dismay, Dida Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. OxentePaisa Salcity's Germano da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save OxentePaisa Salcity from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, OxentePaisa Salcity's Noel Pereira got a free kick in the 79th minute. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s César da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Vaz in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Leonel Vaz made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s César da Mata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. OxentePaisa Salcity's Frederico Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederico Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. César da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of OxentePaisa Salcity booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Noel Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OxentePaisa Salcity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TIMETER EC -DMZ- the free kick. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when OxentePaisa Salcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
