Quiroga F.C.'s Elivélton Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho do Vale's late challenge caught a Quiroga F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. Antônio Carlos Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Veiga in the 20th minute of play. Dudu Hermes hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quiroga F.C. booed when Sangue nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Leme made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Elivélton Cunha sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelsinho do Vale made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Diogo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa got control of the ball when Nelsinho do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Sangue nos Zóio's Nelsinho do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dadá Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sangue nos Zóio made a substitution. Acácio Fernandes replaced Horácio dos Santos. Sangue nos Zóio's Emílio Andrade was substituted for Igor Rocha. After a rather tough play, Quiroga F.C.'s Raphael de Queiroz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dadá Massa was a little too slow when Nelsinho do Vale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 82nd minute, Amauri Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Quiroga F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho do Vale came free, but Dadá Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ana Da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quiroga F.C.'s protests and gave Ana Da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Quiroga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ana Da Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Nelsinho do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emílio Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dadá Massa came out and tried to block the shot, but Emílio Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
