Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celsinho Bittencourt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jairo Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Agnaldo de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vito Leme came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Febre Amarela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Leme couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Febre Amarela getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Evaristo Pirani hit a great ball. When Léo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Inter de São Paulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Almeida couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Celsinho Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélio Sarmento. Febre Amarela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celsinho Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Léo Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de São Paulo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Léo Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Sarmento having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Febre Amarela's Rubinho Loyola got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hélio Sarmento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hélio Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Inter de São Paulo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Osvaldo Tepedino hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Allan Melo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Eliseu Melo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Allan Melo this time. After 45 played minutes Febre Amarela got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Cosme.

After having played for 51 minutes, Adil Vavasseur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Febre Amarela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adil Vavasseur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélio Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celsinho Bittencourt in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento got control of the ball when Celsinho Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Celsinho Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Inter de São Paulo's Agnaldo de Castro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Eliseu Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Pirani in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Sanches during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Febre Amarela got a freekick which was hit by Caio Sanches. Febre Amarela's Hélio Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Febre Amarela from getting a goal against them. Hélio Sarmento was a little too slow when Léo Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. Vito Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseu Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Inter de São Paulo were furious when Osvaldo Tepedino was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 93 played minutes Inter de São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Tepedino. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de São Paulo's zone, Allan Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Melo came out of the goal and Allan Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
