Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricardinho Catarinense took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the S.C. Corinthians Paulista defense, Luiz Gustavo Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Jacinto. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Júlio Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Teodoro Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC - Curitiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the S.C. Corinthians Paulista defense, Allan Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Jacinto. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Jacinto should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Leão came free, but Júlio Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Humberto Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardinho Catarinense could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Celsinho Vander however easily saved by the left post. Gustavo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Vander having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Luiz Gustavo Braga made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Porto. Júlio Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Furlan in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dedê Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Aparecido came free, but Celsinho Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Nico Torres got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

In the 53rd minute Diego da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 60th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Júlio Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC - Curitiba and the S.C. Corinthians Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, AFC - Curitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Braga to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Júlio Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Leão. After 73 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Humberto Leão made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corinthians Paulista's Júlio Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 77th minute of play. When Ricardinho Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Catarinense couldn't finish the play. Cássio Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê Paes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Paes. 89 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Júlio Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga. 92 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Braga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Júlio Jacinto, 0-9. When Cássio Aparecido came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Aparecido couldn't finish the play.
