Valdo Vergílio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Sergio Martins came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Landulfos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Martins couldn't finish the play. Carlos Eduardo Peres hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Remo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Martins in the 22nd minute of the match. James Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Landulfos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. James Rodrigues hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Sergio Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Carlos Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Sergio Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landulfos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When Landulfos FC's Sergio Martins in 43 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Remo Amaral guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauan Pires made a kick off. Remo Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Eduardo Peres in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Carlos Eduardo Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Eduardo Peres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remo Amaral. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Kauan Pires took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chesus Alcocer. Chesus Alcocer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. José Carlos Linares hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ✪ XV de Umarizal's zone, José Carlos Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Amaral came out of the goal and José Carlos Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Amaral having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Vicente Antunes got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Remo Amaral came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Landulfos FC's Carlos Eduardo Peres. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 94th minute, Valdo Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Martins in the 96th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Remo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Landulfos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
