When Ernesto Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haridades F.C's protests and gave Ernesto Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Haridades F.C from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the game, Zé Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haridades F.C the free kick. Luís Eduardo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Souza during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Luís Eduardo Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Perivaldo de Queiroz had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Haridades F.C getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Amílton Moreno hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Dorival Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Roger Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão de Amaral skillfully saved the ball. Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Frederico Gomes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Ronaldinho Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was a little too slow when Dorival Veloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Betão de Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Dracena's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Moisés Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronaldinho Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz. But to his dismay, Elder Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Nilmar do Valle hit a great ball. Luís Eduardo Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 59th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Luz in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Veloso in the 70th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Elder Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Betão de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Dracena went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Dorival Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Zé Recife scored 6-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Haridades F.C's Cafu Pinheiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cafu Pinheiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Haridades F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cafu Pinheiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 95 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Pinheiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frederico Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
