Lógica FC's Duarte Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Lógica FC from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Trevisan in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Lógica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Mário Soeiro in the 9th minute really tested Duarte Monteiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maicon Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Lógica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maicon Souto to maneuver through the defense. If Vito Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lógica FC booed when Santo Amaro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Cauan Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santo Amaro AC's Edu de Moraes got a free kick in the 15th minute. José Paulo Britto's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Eusébio Albuquerque - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 16th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Miranda came free, but Eusébio Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, José Paulo Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lógica FC and the Santo Amaro AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, José Paulo Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diguinho Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Monteiro having to interfere. Lógica FC's Manfredo Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Soeiro during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusébio Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Lógica FC's Manfredo Vinhas. But to his dismay, Manfredo Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho Ortiz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Soeiro in the 51st minute of play forced Lógica FC's goalkeeper Duarte Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Sidney Paes put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lógica FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Duarte Monteiro went to the wrong direction when Mário Soeiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lógica FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mário Soeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Santo Amaro AC's players had a chance to rest. Duarte Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Soeiro in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Ortiz in the 76th minute of play forced Lógica FC's goalkeeper Duarte Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Amaro AC's Diguinho Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joélson Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Albuquerque having to interfere. Lógica FC's Duarte Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Ortiz in the 98th minute of play. Lógica FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
