Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Valdir Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Valdir Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cafu Linares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Palestra Itália's Fabiano Velloso. But to his dismay, Fabiano Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Motta during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Leonardo Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Edgard Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SE Palestra Itália getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alexandre Teixeira hit a great ball. With his leg Paulão Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Valdir Magalhães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frédson Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paulão Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Amorim. Leonardo Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Valdir Magalhães reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulão Penha. The goal made the score 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Magalhães got free with Paulão Penha in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgard Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Paulão Penha made a huge save. After 42 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Teixeira. Alexandre Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SE Palestra Itália getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alexandre Teixeira hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 56 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Pirani. Cafu Linares was a little too slow when Isaltino Penha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 4-2. If Valdir Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 64 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Velloso. 65 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Koehler came free, but Paulão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Vasconcelos in the 70th minute of the match. Willibald Otto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Magalhães came free, but Paulão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when SE Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Sabóia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulão Penha. SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SE Palestra Itália's Paulão Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Vasconcelos in the 86th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the OTTO FC - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
