Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) New Loser FC's Fred Penha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fred Penha hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Gildo Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palestra Itália's Paulão Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When New Loser FC's Gildo Corrêa in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SE Palestra Itália's goalie prevented a goal. New Loser FC's Gildo Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, SE Palestra Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. SE Palestra Itália's Paulão Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Corrêa in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Palestra Itália's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Loser FC the free kick. Sydney Silva lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 29th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Penha to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Marcelinho Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu Negri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 30 minutes, Gildo Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Loser FC and the SE Palestra Itália players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Corrêa. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save New Loser FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Penha in the 34th minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Paulão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Velloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliseu Negri firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eliseu Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaltino Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 44th minute Fred Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Fred Penha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hernani Ramos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 54th playminute. In the 57th play minute Fred Penha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulão Penha. 2-3. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when SE Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Fred Penha suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 78 minutes, Rodriguinho Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palestra Itália and the New Loser FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. New Loser FC's Virgílio Diniz was substituted for Fred Penha. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Rodriguinho Abraão got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gildo Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgílio Diniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulão Penha. That made the score 2-4 in the 84 minute of play. In the 88th minute, New Loser FC's Hernani Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Isaltino Penha got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Corrêa. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Alexandre Teixeira got a free kick in the 97th minute. The SE Palestra Itália fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New Loser FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
